How do you put music on iPhone?

Chantal T :
So I just got iPhone 3g. Figured I'd ask before I start tinkering, cos I'm not that great with techy stuff. Can I only put music on it from itunes, or is there a way to upload my music from Limewire? Or another filesharing site?

thanks!

Oh, one more question, has anyone's phone broken accidentally yet?

lordchacko :
I have an iPhone so I know what I'm talking about. First, if you're not worried about getting viruses, then you can use Limewire. Otherwise, I'd use some site that you can but like $15 passes for unlimited songs. But yes, if you download the songs to your desktop, then just drag them into iTunes by clicking the middle button in the top right corner of iTunes (if ur on a PC) then so that you can the the file on the desktop and iTunes, just drag the file in. If iTunes can't play it then use a different site (just search google).

And if the song play in iTunes then they will play on your iPhone without any problems.

Long live Apple!

PP Hi :
You can try DVD to iPhone Converter Suite to rip DVD movie and convert videos in any format to iPhone. It is the fastest converter I have used. Also, the output quality is great.

Free download here:

Or, various of DVD to iPhone Converter you can get from:

Unbiased reviews and side-by-side comparisons of iphone converter suite give you enough information to research the ins and outs of a particular product.

For mac users:

Some useful information you can get on the official site:

Mr. Malevolence :
You can take music from Limewire and put it into iTunes, and then sync it, but Limewire and filesharing programs like it can't sync with the Apple iPod. Aside from iTunes, only a few third-party solutions, like WinAmp, can sync with the iPod - Windows Media Player won't even work.

Nico :
actually on limewire when u finish the download you click then drag into itunes orrrrrr u could bookmark songs on utube
